Rebecca Fjällsby

Rebecca Fjällsby graduated from University College of Opera in Stockholm 2016. During her studies, she sang parts like Charlotte in Massenet’s Werther, Cherubino in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro, Gertrud in Hamlet by Thomas, Octavian in Der Rosenkavalier by Strauss and Siebel in Faust by Gounod. In 2014 she sang the part of Annio in Operafabrikens production of Mozart's La Clemenza di Tito and the year after she did Zerlina at Malmo Opera. In 2016 she made her Carmen-debut at Berlin Opera Academy. In 2018 she sang Gianetta in L’élisir d’dmore by Donizetti and Tebaldo in Don Carlo by Verdi, both at Opera på Skäret. In 2019 she sang Zweite dame in Die Zauberflöte at Opera på Skäret followed by Nancy in Albert Herring at Wermland Opera. In summer 2020 she will participate as Cosima von Bülow in Im Treibhaus – an opera about Mathilde Wesendonck and Richard Wagner in Vattnäs Concert Barn. She recently sang Symphony 2 by G Mahler at Wermland opera. Her scholarships also includes The Wettergren foundation for education 2018 and Wagner society in Gothenburg's Bayreuth scholarship 2018, Helge Ax:son Johnsons scholarship 2017 and Tobisson's scholarship 2016. In 2015 she received a scholarship from The Royal Swedish Academy of Music.
